The Dutch Association for Maritime History
The Association:
- annually organizes two meetings (one in the spring and one in the fall) with lectures and excursions;
- publishes the journal Tijdschrift voor Zeegeschiedenis twice per year and the news bulletin Acht Glazen once per year;
- awards two scientific prizes;
- works closely together with with fellow associations and universities in organizing conferences and other scientific activities.
